Echoing last year’s top hog in the Wacky Pet Names celebration, fellow pig parent and Nationwide member Kelli S. also created a fun pet pun using the name of an iconic rapper with a unique barnyard twist.
When it came time to find the perfect name for her pet pig, Kelli decided on a wacky nod to a hip hop icon that’s straight out of the Hoggpound. What’s my name? Snoop Hoggy Hogg. For any rap novices out there, Kelli explains her inspiration: “[He’s] named after the singer Snoop Doggy Dogg.”
Kelli reports that her pet pig is just as chilled out as his namesake artist—most of the time. “Snoop has a funny and sweet personality,” Kelli says. However, despite this casual demeanor on most days, occasionally he does a G thang or two: “He also throws temper tantrums like a three-year-old and flips my dining room chairs over.”
