Consider the midsize sedan, a vehicle beloved by generations of commuters for its reliability and understated good looks.
Few things are more ubiquitous or quietly loved than a champagne-finish Toyota Camry, which underpins the genius of naming a wacky pet just that—Midsize Sedan. Tortoise mom and Nationwide member Kaitlyn G. had big ideas for her ever-growing pet when it came time to choose a name. Kaitlyn says, “She will weigh up to 400 pounds when full grown, so we figured naming her after a car was fitting.”
For a pet of her size and species, you wouldn’t expect much in the way of horsepower. However, like any good sedan, this tortoise can pop it into ‘hare’ when it comes to speed. Kaitlyn adds, “She is very fast, even though she’s a tortoise.”
And like any trustworthy vehicle, Midsize Sedan needs to be fueled up—with healthy greens, of course. And occasionally, she enjoys a more colorful treat: “She loves to eat hibiscus flowers.”
