From the darkest pits of the underworld comes a bunny with a name so evil—well, it’s downright wacky! Meet BeezelBun, the red-eyed floof with a demonic moniker unlike any other.
“Beelzebub is known in demonology as one of the seven deadly demons or seven princes of Hell, representing gluttony and envy,” says Marialena P., Nationwide member and pet parent to Beezelbun.
His bright red eyes were part of the inspiration for the name, as well as his wild mane of fur. In fact, his extra fluffiness has inspired several different extra-wacky name variations for this unique bun. Marialena continues: “Floof! He also goes by Abominable Snowbun.”
For a manifestation of evil, Marialena reports that BeezelBun is actually very empathetic and snuggly. Casual observers would never suspect the wickedness hiding behind that wiggling nose and cuddly nature, if not for his wild and wacky name! However, the gluttony that inspires his name does show through in some ways: “He loves snacks.”
Being a lord of the underworld isn’t always easy—even a prince of darkness needs regular veterinary checkups. However, his bills don’t cause eternal agony for his pet parent. To stay ready for the unexpected, Marialena chose Nationwide to protect BeezelBun and get reimbursement for his eligible veterinary bills: “To keep himbs healthy is expensive! Himbs my ‘money bunny.’”
